MyHomeWine is a guide to making wine at home, from your first one-gallon jug of fruit wine to a full batch of red from fresh grapes.

How It Started

MyHomeWine was started in 2018 by William Reed, a home winemaker who grew up helping his father make wine every year and went on to teach the craft to his own son and grandson. He started the site to pass that knowledge on to anyone who wanted to make good wine at home.

MyHomeWine Today

The site is now run by the MyHomeWine team, who carry on what William started. We write and update the guides, recipes and calculators, check every method against extension services, yeast makers and other primary sources, and keep the product picks current.
